About the Artist

Sarai Middleton is a multi-talented visual artist with over a decade of experience translating emotion into form.

Her work is a vibrant fusion of ancestral memory and modern soul, where every brushstroke carries rhythm, resistance, and reverence. Deeply influenced by the Gullah Geechee legacy, Sarai uses color, texture, and layered symbolism to tell stories that live beyond the canvas.

Her aesthetic is steeped in neo-soul vibes, creative freedom, and a deep spiritual undercurrent. Each piece she creates invites the viewer into a space of reflection, healing, and cultural memory, blending the sacred with the everyday, the seen with the felt.

Sarai's work has been recognized in multiple publications, including Voyage Savannah, Voyage Atlanta, Canvas Rebel, and Shoutout Atlanta, where her artistry and cultural impact have been celebrated for their authenticity and bold storytelling.

From July 2021 to July 2023, she was featured in the powerful group exhibition ‘Sunday Supper’, a communal and immersive showcase of Black Southern artistry in Savannah, GA.

In 2025, her newest collection is on display at Kim’s Bistro and Bar, where her artwork lives among the hum of conversation, good food, and the energy of a community that continues to uplift and inspire her.
